I've been involved with music since I was 8 years old when I decided to take up the guitar after discovering my guitar heroes in Carlos Santana and Tommy Emmanuel. I started Essendon Guitar in 2014, and have been teaching guitar now for 11 years.
I completed my Certificate IV in music in 2009, and have completed AMEB Advancing Step Three in Contemporary Popular Music in Guitar with Honours.
I currently manage and play in the cover band 'The Knots', performing Pop, Rock, Acoustic, Funk and Soul covers regularly across Melbourne and Central Victoria.
Nick first started music lessons on Piano when he was just 6 years old, deciding to pick up the Guitar a few years later after seeing bands like Nirvana on Rage music videos, and has been playing ever since. He now performs around Melbourne in a couple of bands, and is constantly writing and recording his own music.
He completed his Certificate IV in Sound Production in 2016 and also completed VCE Music in High School. His influences have encouraged him to explore other genres such as Metal and Jazz which have made Guitar playing an ongoing musical pursuit, and he loves being able to share the things he's learnt to his students and seeing their progress.
Daniel has been involved in music most of his life, learning piano from a young age and then picking up the guitar in his teens. He moved to Melbourne from his hometown of Perth in 2015 to study a Bachelor of Music - majoring in Contemporary Performance on Guitar at the Australian Institute of Music, which he is set to graduate from in mid 2018.
He has performed in multiple bands, and during his studies he has formed an eclectic taste, gaining impressive knowledge and skills in many different genres of music.
